About Us

The Carlsbad Village Association was originally founded in the 1970s as the Carlsbad Merchants Association.  The organization has since expanded its mission to broadly serve all Carlsbad Village stakeholders and has recently adopted the Main Street Four-Point Approach, a comprehensive strategy to commercial district revitalization.

Our mission is to take an active role as business and community leadership to provide residents and visitors with a more engaging and consistent business, shopping, arts and entertainment experience.

We embrace the following values:

• Volunteering in support of the community
• Providing a forum for collaboration and partnerships
• Supporting neighborhood businesses
• Fostering community that appreciates the unique quality, character, historical significance, and diversity of Carlsbad Village
• Continuing to increase the impact of membership and sponsorship programs to benefit the Village
• Create events that provide a casual and fun atmosphere in the Village
